From the gate, the lane leads to Jalan Kayu Aya in about seven minutes on foot. Follow it down to the sea and Seminyak beach is about fifteen minutes from the gate.

How it tends to go
Morning
Surf schools on Seminyak beach start early, before the wind; the beach is fifteen minutes away. There are cafés and a morning market within a short walk.
Day
Restaurants, shops and spas along Jalan Kayu Aya. Tables, treatments and drivers can be booked for you.
Evening
Sunset is over the sea, fifteen minutes away on foot. Dinner on Jalan Kayu Aya needs no taxi.
