Work from a villa in Seminyak

Villa Aniri suits a few weeks or a month of remote work: a private garden house with Wi-Fi, air-conditioned bedrooms, a long table under the pavilion roof, a full kitchen and a pool for the break between calls. It is a villa, not a coworking space — and this page says plainly what that means.

01Work from the villa

What you have to work with

Wi-Fi is installed in the house. Each of the four bedrooms is air-conditioned, so a call can happen in a closed, cool room, and the open pavilion beside the pool has a long table in the shade of the Joglo roof for the rest of the day. The kitchen is a full one, so lunch does not mean leaving.

We have not yet published a measured connection speed. If you depend on video calls, ask before you book and we will send a current speed test; when a figure is published it appears on this page.

02Work from the villa

A villa, not a coworking space

There are no hot desks, no meeting rooms and no other members here. What you get instead is the whole house to yourself or your team: quiet in the morning, the garden at midday, the pool when the screen is done.

If you also want a café or a coworking space for some days, Seminyak has both within a short ride. Canggu is Bali’s best-known base for remote workers; Seminyak is calmer and more polished, with the restaurants of Jalan Kayu Aya seven minutes away on foot and the beach sixteen.

What a working week here looks like

Mornings at the table with the garden in front of you. Lunch from your own kitchen or a short walk to Jalan Kayu Aya. A swim between calls, the beach for sunset. With no commute and nothing to drive to, the day is yours; the airport is 30–45 minutes away by car, so arrivals and departures stay simple.

Stays of a month or longer

Villa Aniri is let by the night, and longer stays are priced as such: ask for a monthly rate when you request your dates. Housekeeping is part of the stay. Indonesian immigration rules for remote work depend on your nationality and visa and change often — check them with the Indonesian authorities before you travel; we cannot advise on visas.

A team of up to eight

The villa sleeps eight in four bedrooms, so a small team can work and stay under one roof; see a villa for groups for how that works, and retreats for a team offsite.

Asked often

Questions, answered

Is Villa Aniri a coworking space?

No. It is a private villa: you have the whole house, with no hot desks or other members. For a day in a coworking space, Seminyak has several a short ride away.

Is the Wi-Fi fast enough for video calls?

Wi-Fi is installed in the house. We have not yet published a measured speed, so if video calls matter to you, ask when you request your dates and we will send a current test before you book.

Where would I actually work?

At the long table in the open pavilion beside the pool, in the garden, or in your air-conditioned bedroom for calls. All of it is private to your booking.

Can I rent for a month or longer?

Yes. Request your dates on the rates page and ask for a monthly rate; longer stays are priced differently from a single night.

Do I need a special visa to work remotely from Bali?

That depends on your nationality and the visa you hold, and the rules change. Check with Indonesian immigration before you travel — we cannot give visa advice.

Why Seminyak rather than Canggu?

Canggu is the best-known remote-work base and the busiest. Seminyak is calmer and more polished, with restaurants and the beach within a walk of the villa. Which suits you depends on whether you want a scene or a quiet week.
